DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Install and maintain machines and equipment applying engineering principles and/or according to the manuals
- Generate and update the operation and maintenance manuals for Li ion battery production equipment
- Diagnose and repair machines and production equipment
- Improve the manufacturing efficiency and quality Continuously
- Make the drawings using solid works, design and make tools and fixtures
- Oversee the daily operation of cell assembly line to ensure smooth operation per the set standards and procedures
- Actively train technician for using coating machine, the cell assembly machine and equipment
- Serve as team member for AS9100D system
- Prepare Quality Control documentations as assigned
- Inspect and make effort that QC procedures are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

- BA degree in mechanical engineering
- Must be a US Citizen or a green card holder
- Minimum five years' related experience in Li ion battery, semiconductor or electronic device industries.
- Demonstrates understanding of a wide variety of manufacturing and machining processes and workholding.
- Ability to utilize internal resources to determine product requirements, generate recommendations, document findings, and communicate findings to others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Driven to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates a high degree of initiative and motivation with a willingness to work independently or on a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
- Must be able to wear PPE at work when required
- Must be ok to work in the environment with Li-ion battery production
- Must be able to bend, squat, reach, and climb on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 50lbs.
